It is the why that pulls me forward, that has the deepest significance. Why we create and why we surround ourselves with beauty and all that tugs at our emotions, intellect and desires. To have does not fully satisfy me, nor to take. I give not because I’ve been given, but because I have something to share: all that encompass’ my creative mind.
Beauty is an elixir and words its vessel form. With this we add meaning and purpose, the why before the what. In this time of government unravel and future uncertainty, to cocoon is our natural instinct. To wrap and protect, circle the wagons and man the metaphorical guns.
It is this behavior of social survival that we know best, to protect our village, kinfolk and neighbor: family sought and family inherited. Through actions of instinct and intellect, we can change what we can and affect the un-turnable, this starts within our circles, expanding as ripples form.
To surround oneself with beauty is not a selfish act, but an instinct for survival, the tying of mind and emotion. At this point in time we know what the creative mind can do, or should, as it fortifies our realm of living, inspiring through the elements of design and the power of mind and hand.
We are constantly turning a corner in time, and with the creative mind, action and intellect each corner need not be surprising. We have the ability to create change, to resolve and counter: to cocoon and protect our shining light.
