Change rarely happens by chance, it’s pushed by ego, guided by will and sustained by hope. Its perspective is sometimes off, depending on the view from high or low: trotted or trotting.
How we live is directly porportioned to our why, the purpose and meaning to all that we do. In varying degrees, our actions affect every moment and how the future shows itself. At this point we know this, we see it, as pieces of reality fall to our feet.
“Change rarely happens by chance, but by the push and the pull.”
Our built environments of the past no longer support our beliefs, nor deliver the demands of the future. Change rarely happens by chance, but by the push and the pull.
I am not an expert in change, I perpetuate my own failings, but I know what they are and pull them from their roots: repeatedly, slowly and with awkward acknowledgment. But this is not about me, it pertains to the bigger picture, the collective efforts: the bee and the hive.
To create change is to know why we need change. To not only know the facts, but to feel the tug in the gut, smelling the smoke before what we desire, burns. Most of us know we need change, as some still hold up blinders, fearful that the burn may be too real. But as Rome burned, so too the future was built.
“To create change is to know we need change, and how that is to be built.”
If we are to move forward, we must protect what we need as we pull it to the future. To create change is to know we need change, and how that is to be built. Every step, creates our personal path, rippling as these written words are read. We are not our government’s pawn, or social wagging tails, we are each the words, the tools themselves: the change and changed.
